From the visitor center, follow Bayview Trail all the way. It forms a loop encircling the hills in Coyote Hills. To the east of these hills lie marshlands. To the west lies San Francisco Bay.

Location: along Patterson Ranch Road, Fremont, CA 94555 . No street address. Parking area is visible in Google Maps if you zoom in sufficiently.

Directions: Along CA-84, take exit 36 for Thornton Ave towards Paseo Padre Pkwy. Turn left onto Thornton Ave, then continue along Paseo Padre Parkway. In one mile, turn left onto Patterson Ranch Road. Within 1.4 miles, Coyote Hills Visitor Cener is on your left.
