Montara State Beach in Pacifica, CA, is a quiet sandy beach. It is connected to Gray Whale Cove Beach via Gray Whale Cove Trail that meanders through hills lying to the east of Highway 1. This trail is among the best in the bay area to see spring wild flowers.
