Hikes in San Francisco
1 Jan 2012
San Francisco offers several miles of beautiful hiking trails along the coastline, along the beaches in the north and in the SF Presidio area. On clear days, jaw-dropping views of Golden Gate Bridge and the Pacific may be seen.
  1. Best Months to Visit: Any time of the year would be great. Some people prefer to avoid cold and foggy days.
  2. Guide: Joseph Stubbs maintains an excellent website describing parks and beaches in San Francisco. Clickable Map.
  3. Geology: San Francisco - nice description by Ted Konigsmark at GeologicTrips.
