Year: 1961
Movie: Hum Dono
Singer: Mohammad Rafi
Lyricist: Sahir Ludhianvi
Music Director: Jaidev
Lyrics: here

A song with simple, straightforward lyrics. It spells out how to handle losses and move on with joy in your heart.

The only caveat with this song is that Dev Anand is shown smoking throughout and the opening couplet has the line हर फ़िक्र को धुँएं में उड़ाता चला गया, which is somewhat suggestive of smoking.

Other compositions with the same theme:

  1. Mera Mujh Mein Kichh Nahi (1970s, Kabir & Guru Nanak, sung by Bhai Gopal Singh Ragi)
  2. Man Re Tu Kahe Na Dheer Dhare (1964, Chitralekha)
  3. Put On Your Dancing Shoes (1963, Cliff Richard)
  4. Que Sera Sera (1956, Doris Day)
  5. Dhoondhoge Mulkon Mulkon (Shaad Azeemabadi, sung by Abida Parveen)
  6. Ji Chahe To Sheesha Ban JA (Hazrat Zaheen Shah Taji, sung by Abida Parveen)
