'Tu Is Tarah Se Meri Zindagi Mein Shaamil Hai' is a composition that describes absorption in one's beloved. Even though this is not a Sufi or Bhakti composition, the opening lines and the first two stanzas can be interpreted as absorption in the Almighty or the Universe.

तू इस तरह से मेरी ज़िंदगी में शामिल है
जहाँ भी जाऊँ ये लगता है, तेरी महफ़िल है

Translation

You are a part of my life to such an extent that
wherever I go, I feel that there is a congregation in your honor.

Interpretation

The word 'mehfil' means assembly of people. 'Teri mehfil hai' means presence. The poet says that he is so absorbed in his beloved that wherever he goes, he sees her.

Translation

These skies, these clouds, these pathways, these winds
Everything is perfect (in its right place).
For several days, I have had no grievances against the world.
This life is a journey. You are the destination of the journey.

Interpretation

Absorption or union is concomitant with contentment. The world appears perfect. Everything in the world is exactly as it should be. Such thoughts arise in the mind of a lover, with peace and joy in his heart.

हर एक फूल किसी याद सा महकता है
तेरे खयाल से जागी हुई फ़िज़ाएं हैं

Translation

Every flower is fragrant like a memory.
With your memory is awake the pleasant breeze.
Are these green trees a blessing of love?
Whether you are near or not, you are in front of me.

Interpretation

When in love, everything in nature is awake, with everything reminding the poet of his beloved. Flowers, trees, the wind, the earth, the sky — all of these are seen as blessings. The physical presence of the beloved is unnecessary because the union is of the heart. The connection with the beloved is strong, with a feeling of oneness.

Translation

Every activity is illumined by the radiance of love
But for this radiance, this life is incomplete.
In the path of love, a companion is necessary.
It is difficult to traverse this path alone.

Bhatak Rahi Thi Jawaani Andheri Raaho Mein

Without you, there was something incomplete in the world.
Youth was wandering (lost) in dark pathways.
My heart found peace after coming into your arms.
I am a lost wave, you are the shore.

Meri Talaash Teri Dilkashi Rahe Baaki
Khuda Kare Ki Ye Deevangi Rahe Baki

तेरे जमाल से रोशन है कायनात मेरी

तेरी वफ़ा ही मेरी हर खुशी का हासिल है

Translation

With your radiance is illumined my world.
May my search (for you), my attraction (for you) remain forever.
May He ensure that my obsession remain forever.
Your love (honesty) is the end goal of every happiness of mine.

Interpretation

The last line appears odd to me. It connects 'wafa', 'khushi' and 'haasil'. I don't understand what it means.
