Route

The route is particularly scenic early morning or just before sunset. Shadows of clouds in the water and the presence of many birds makes it a peaceful experience in nature.

Follow a paved road for about a quarter mile, ignoring a paved road that joins from the left and another that joins from the right. The road soon becomes a dirt road and meanders next to sloughs and marshlands. Keep following signs for Adobe Creek Trail until a signpost that says 'Adobe Creek Loop Trail — 1.3 miles to Shoreline Lake — 1.5 miles to Byxbee Parking Lot'. Retrace your steps from this point.
