» Redwoodhikes Trail Map:
Great map showing many parks like Purisima Creek, Huddart, Wunderlich, El Corte De Madera, Foothills, Hidden Villa and Rancho San Antonio. Trail maps for individual parks are available online for free. However, the RedwoodHikes map shows the big picture and is helpful for planning hikes that go through multiple parks.
Route: Grabtown Gulch Trail (0.3 miles) → Borden Hatch Mill Trail (0.2 miles) → Bald Knob Trail (1.3 miles) → Irish Ridge Trail (1.2 miles) → Lobitos Creek Trail (~ 1.1 miles). Return by same route.
Lobitos Creek Trail is the most scenic, amid cool redwoods. Beyond the 1-mile mark, the trail is unmaintained — it's best to turn back unless you are comfortable with bush-whacking and confident that you can find your way back.
Bald Knob and Irish Ridge Trail are in the open, unshaded — avoid summers for this hike.
