From the Sailing Station, follow an unnamed trail (0.25 miles) to the parking lot for Lucy Evans Baylands Nature Preserve. Cross the road and continue along San Francisquito Crek Trail (0.9 miles). Take right turn at the corner to visit a bench with good views of the bay (0.1 miles). Return to the trail and continue along San Franciscquito Creek Trail (0.45 miles) to a junction near a bridge. Turn left and continue along a paved trail (0.5 miles) to reach Baylands Athletic Center. Walk through the parking lots of the center and continue along Geng Road (0.3 miles) → cross the road at the red light, turn left on Embarcaero Road (0.1 miles) → turn right on Faber Road (0.15 miles). At the far end of Faber Road, continue along a paved bike trail called Renzel Trail (0.75 miles) → left on Adobe Creek Trail (1.7 miles) to reach a junction. Turn left at this junction and continue along Adobe Creek Trail (0.25 miles) to reach a parking lot. The trail now continues adjacent to the paved road for 0.95 miles to return to Lucy Evans Baylands Nature Preserve. Explore the wooden boardwalk (0.4 miles) at Lucy Evans. Then cross the road and walk along an unnamed trail (0.25 miles) to return to the Sailing Station.
