A pleasant walk into a rocky finger-like landmass projecting into the Pacific. Plenty of wildflowers and excellent views of Point Reyes coastline in both directions.

Route: Follow the trail all the way to Chimney Rock. Return by same route.
Notes: See Yelp reviews for Chimney Rock. Great views of the Pacific and large sections of Point Reyes coastline. In May 2011, we saw signs of 'Unauthorized Trails', which looked like well maintained trails that were dangerous because of their proximity to the cliffs. Down below, at the foot of these cliffs, we saw seals resting along beaches. The Chimney Rock trail is replete with a wide variety of wild flowers.
