Trailhead: Parking lot on Harding Road, near Hwy 35 (Skyline Blvd).

Route: Follow the paved trail around North Lake (marked by "1" in the trail map). The western section of the trail adjoins the busy Skyline Blvd. The northern section of the trail adjoins Lake Merced Blvd which has much less traffic. The eastern section goes through Harding Park Golf Course (marked by "5" in the trail map).

Location: near intersection of Harding Road and Highway 35 (Skyline Blvd) in San Francisco, CA 94132 . Parking area is visible in Google Maps if you zoom in sufficiently.

Directions: From Skyline Blvd (CA-35) North in San Francisco, turn right onto Harding Road. Drive for 0.1 miles to reach a large parking lot.
