» Redwoodhikes Trail Map:
Great map showing many parks like Purisima Creek, Huddart, Wunderlich, El Corte De Madera, Foothills, Hidden Villa and Rancho San Antonio. Trail maps for individual parks are available online for free. However, the RedwoodHikes map shows the big picture and is helpful for planning hikes that go through multiple parks.
Section 1: Skyline Trail (0.4 miles) → Lonely Trail (1.9 miles) to reach a junction with Mount Redondo Trail and Raymundo Trail. This section of the hike (Skyline and Lonely) does not have good signs, so you would have to use some intuition and sense of direction.
Section 2: Loop around Mount Redondo Trail (0.8 miles) and Raymundo Trail (1.6 miles) to return to the same intersection.
The trailhead is actually a part of Huddart Park, and it is right across a parking lot and trailhead for Purisima Creek Redwoods Open Space Preserve. It lies on Highway 35 (Skyline Bllvd), three-tenths of a mile north of Kings Mountain Rd and 6.5 miles south of Highway 92.
From Highway 280, take Woodside Rd (Highway 84) exit going west. Turn right on Kings Mountain Road. Turn right on Skyline Blvd (Highway 35). The trailhead for Purisima Creek is about 0.3 miles away. There is parking space for about 10-11 cars.
