A pleasant shaded walk through Tiburon Uplands with a side trip to Heathcliff Fire Rd in Old St Hilary's which offers great views of Richmond - San Rafael Bridge.

From the parking lot, cross the road carefully and enter Tiburon Uplands. Follow Uplands Trail, which forms a loop. The loop may be extended by a sidetrip to Heathcliff Fire Rd in Old St Hilary’s Open Space Preserve. Along Upland Trail, there is a bench (see photo album) where an unnamed side trail climbs up to Old St Hilary’s Open Space Preserve. This trail is well maintained but not shown on the official trail map. In about half a mile, it connects with Heathcliff Fire Rd (see trail map) at an unmarked junction. From this junction, you can see great views of Richmond – San Rafael Bridge in the north.

Location: along Paradise Drive, Beldevere Tiburon, CA 94920 . No street address. Parking area is visible in Google Maps if you zoom in sufficiently.

Directions: From US-101 North, take exit 447 for CA-131 towards Tiburon / E Blithedale Ave, turn right onto CA-131 East / Tiburon Blvd and drive for 1.7 miles. Turn left onto Trestle Glen Blvd and drive for 0.6 miles. Turn right onto Paradise Drive and drive for 3.0 miles to reach the trailhead for Tiburon Uplands. Parking is available at a pullout along Paradise Drive. Across the pullout lies the gated entrance with a large sign to "Romberg Tiburon Center".
