Location: near Intersection of McBryde Avenue and Park Avenue, Richmond, CA 94806 . No street address. Parking area is visible in Google Maps if you zoom in sufficiently.

Directions: From I-80 East, take exit 17 toward Solano Ave and merge onto Amador St. After 0.4 miles, turn right onto McBryde Ave. In 0.3 miles, there is an intersection with Park Ave. Park on street to enter Alvarado Area shown on the trail map.

Route
The hike starts in the Alvarado Area. Follow unnamed trails in Alvarado Area (0.40 miles) to Wildcat Canyon Staging Area → Wildcat Creek Trail (0.45 miles) → Belgum Trail (0.87 miles) → San Pablo Ridge Trail (1.21 miles) → Nimitz Way (0.68 + 1.38 + 0.45 + 0.30 miles) → Wildcat Peak Trail (0.25 + 0.98) with side trip to Wildcat Peak (0.1 miles) → Sylvan Trail (0.28 miles) → short trip to Jewel Lake (0.1 miles) → Wildcat Creek Trail (0.74 + 1.14 + 0.20 + 1.57 + 0.45 +0.20 miles) → short walk along Park Ave (0.3 miles).
