Hikes in Mount Madonna County Park
1 Jan 2012
Mount Madonna County Park is a pleasant park in Watsonville, CA offering mixed terrain ranging from open spaces to redwood forests with creeks.

Best Months to Visit: Any time of the year is great for redwood sections of the park. For trails on the periphery which offer panoramic valley views, avoid summers.

Notes: The eastern section of the park has unshaded trails that offer panoramic valley views. This includes Merry-Go-Round Trail and Ridge Trail. The interior section of the park has redwood trees with pleasant hiking trails like Redwood Trail, Rock Springs Trail, Blackhawk Trail, Blue Springs Trail and Bayview Trail. Along Iron Springs Trail, there are several unnamed side-trails for archers (there is an Archery Range nearby).
