Hikes in Pogonip Preserve

Pogonip Preserve is a small park adjacent to UC Santa Cruz. It has a wide variety of vegetation including open grasslands and forests. Trails are mostly shaded. To the south of Pogonip lies Harvey West Park which has a beautiful short trail amid redwoods. To the north lies Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park, which is a large redwood forest.
