Best Months to Visit: Winters and spring are best since most trails are in the open. Limekiln Trail is shaded between Alma Ridge Road and the intersection with Priest Rock Trail. In spring, wild flowers adorn the trail, especially the two miles along Woods Trail near the trail head at Hicks Road.
