A sweet song: slow and soothing. Its signature line "Aur?" "Aur Tum!" is a stroke of genius. Its lyrics don't sound like a poem. They are like a conversation in ordinary language, straight from the heart.
The song exudes love but with a tinge of sadness because the young couple has to part. It's one of their last meetings alone, before the wife leaves. They have a few moments together in nature, before sunset.
Throughout the song, the couple sits next to each other, at a distance, without moving, without touching. The wife gently rocks from side to side, absorbed in the song. Towards the end, she rests her head on her husband's shoulder and hums a few notes with him. Can you imagine a modern song with such delicacy?
