"Bhage Re Man Kahi" by Sunidhi Chauhan is nicely sung. Kareena Kapoor is the girl in the video. She is in love with herself and she's expressing her joy by dancing in rain :) Kareena looks so lovely! Look at her mirthful expressions and movements! This song reminds me of "Singin' in the Rain" from 1950s featuring Gene Kelly (see the box on the right).
The Indian sari is a visual delight, exuding grace and feminity. In pre-2000 days, the picturization could have been considered "too much exposure". By modern standards of Hindi cinema, this song is just about right.
The lyrics are most mesmerizing in their original language. An English translation does not generate the same feelings. Also, the lyrics are not exactly "tangible". They cannot be understood intellectually. They have to be felt.
