After dinner, I was walking back to my office slowly. I was enjoying the elements of nature.. smiling.. remembering conversations, non-conversations and email threads. A joyful three-year old girl was walking towards me with her parents. Just before we crossed each other, she said 'Hi!' to me. I waved back merrily. Little kids that I have met in USA are shy. It's always me who makes eye contact and waves at them. For the first time, it was a child who pre-empted me by saying 'Hi'. Delightful!
