Route

The route is particularly scenic early morning or just before sunset. Shadows of clouds in the water and the presence of many birds makes it a peaceful experience in nature.

Follow a paved road for about a quarter mile, ignoring a paved road that joins from the left and another that joins from the right. The road soon becomes a dirt road and meanders next to sloughs and marshlands. Keep following signs for Adobe Creek Trail until reaching a bridge, where the trail makes a sharp left. On the right, there is a bench for admiring nature. Retrace your steps back to the parking lot from this point.
