Route

To Mission Peak: Ohlone Wilderness Trail (1.51 miles) → Peak Meadow Trail (0.6 miles) → Grove Trail (0.2 miles) → connector (0.1 miles) → connector (0.1 miles) → Peak Trail (0.5 miles).

To Stanford Ave: Retrace your steps back to the trail head.

Notes: This hike is along the most popular route. When somebody says that they went to Mission Peak, they are very likely referring to this route.

Trailhead

Location: 1880 Stanford Avenue, Fremont, CA . Parking area is visible in Google Maps if you zoom in sufficiently.

Directions: From I-880, take Mission Blvd exit towards Sacramento / I-680. After driving two miles along Mission Blvd, turn right onto Stanford Ave. Within 0.8 miles, there is a parking lot for Mission Peak.

Capacity: About 20 cars may be parked here. Plenty of parking along Stanford Ave and residential complexes nearby. Parking is usually tight due to the popularity of the park.
