Trailhead: Redwood Grove Group Picnic Area

Route: Cross Marin Trail (0.5 miles) → Pioneer Tree Trail (1.8 miles).

Notes: This short loop takes you through redwoods including some old growth redwoods. This route is shaded throughout. Details at RedwoodHikes.com. Elevation profile looks noisy due to redwoods interfering with GPS signals.

Location: along Sir Francis Drake Blvd . No street address. Parking area is visible in Google Maps if you zoom in sufficiently.

Directions: From US-101 North, take exit 450B toward San Anselmo. Merge onto Sir Francis Drake Blvd. Drive for 15.2 miles to reach the entrance for Samuel P Taylor Park.
