Route

Route in brief: Rocky Ridge View Trail → Rocky Ridge Loop Trail → Ramage Peak Trail to the bench which offers views of San Leandro Watershed. Return by Ramage Peak Trail → Rocky Ridge Loop Trail → Rocky Ridge View Trail.

Notes:

  1. For this hike, you would need an EBMUD Permit and EBMUD Trail Map. During my last trip, we thought of visiting "Ramage Peak", which is marked on the trail map. However, there is no trail leading to the peak itself. So we continued walking until the first bench that provided views of San Leandro Watershed.
  2. Rocky Ridge View Trail provides great views of San Leandro Watershed managed by EBMUD. A short section of the trail is through a shaded forest.
