» Redwoodhikes Trail Map: Great map showing many parks like Purisima Creek, Huddart, Wunderlich, El Corte De Madera, Foothills, Hidden Villa and Rancho San Antonio. Route

Parking: In Wunderlich Park, access to Bay Area Ridge Trail (also called Skyline Trail) and Alambique Trail is provided by the western gated entrance on CA-35 (Skyline Blvd). There is little parking outside this entrance. See Trail Map for Wunderlich. However, 0.2 miles north of this entrance, there is a parking lot for El Corte de Madera Creek Open Space Preserve. A trail inside El Corte de Madera parallels CA-35 and leads to the gated western entrance of Wunderlich.

Trailhead: Gated entrance for El Corte de Madera called "CM03" in trail map.

Route in brief: Follow Gordon Mill Trail going towards Wunderlich Park for 0.3 miles (see trail map) to emerge again on CA-35. Cross over to enter Wunderlich Park and follow Skyline Trail (also called Bay Area Ridge Trail) all the way to Kings Mountain Road in Woodside.

Notes: Skyline Trail continues beyond Kings Canyon Road into Huddart Park for another 0.4 miles to reach a parking lot for Purisima Creek Redwoods, which has ample parking.
