In Sufi & Bhakti prose and poetry, 'The Universe' goes by hundreds of names like 'Khuda', 'Krishna', 'Allah', 'Bhagwan', 'Parameshwar', 'Akal Purukh', 'Tripurari', and so on. In English translations, the names are 'God', 'The Cosmos', 'The Infinite', 'The Almighty', 'The Ultimate Power', 'The Lord', 'The Master', 'The Mystery', and so on.

Sufi & Bhakti poets also emphasize that the name by which we refer to 'the Universe' is not important. What matters is that we understand and practice 'submission' or 'acceptance'.
